On behalf of the AfriCanada Expo Organizing Committee, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude for your support, enthusiasm, and commitment to strengthening the economic, cultural, and business ties between Africa and Canada.

After careful consultation with our partners and in consideration of the current challenges with international visa processing timelines, we have made the strategic decision to reschedule the AfriCanada Expo 2025 from 17th - 19th October, 2025 to June 10th - 12th, 2026 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

This decision ensures that all delegates, exhibitors, governments, and investors across Africa and Canada will have sufficient time to secure travel documentation and prepare meaningfully for participation.

Our priority is to host a world-class event that is inclusive, impactful, and representative of the vibrant Africa–Canada partnership.

Building Momentum – Road to AfriCanada 2026

To maintain momentum and strengthen engagement, we are pleased to announce the launch of the “Road to AfriCanada 2026 Dialogue Series.” These high-level country dialogues and mixers will bring together policymakers, investors, SMEs, and diaspora leaders across Africa to prepare for Edmonton 2026.

The Dialogue Series will begin in Accra, Ghana, followed by stops in Nigeria, Kenya, Morocco, and South Africa. Each dialogue will highlight trade, innovation, investment, and diaspora collaboration — laying the foundation for a stronger and more inclusive Expo.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this reschedule may cause and greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. We are confident that this decision will allow us to deliver an even more impactful and successful Expo in 2026.

We remain committed to providing regular updates and working closely with you to ensure your participation and partnership continue to bring value throughout this journey.

Thank you once again for walking with us on this path to prosperity. We look forward to seeing you at the dialogues and welcoming you to Alberta in June 2026.

With warm regards,

Christiana Ranicia Erickson,
Executive Director,
